Sometimes life gives you a second chance - I got that and finally went after my passion- photography
Not everyone gets a second chance and even some that do, don't do anything with it. When it was discovered I had had a silent heart attack while undergoing a routine physical, I thot my life, as I knew it, would be coming to an end. An avid hiker, having climbed half of Colorado's 14ers, I saw that ending.
However, laying on the operating table following an angiogram, the doctor explained they couldn't put a stent in because they had no idea how long I had had the blockage. But the good news was that my heart was trying to heal itself! I do believe our bodies are amazing and if treated properly and with respect, it will do wondrous things. My secondary arteries on the other side of my heart had grown longer and were feeding the damaged side of my heart. Long story short, I was in great shape and could do anything I wanted. I realized that I had just been given a Second Chance.
Second Chance Photography is about the beauty that we have around us - the mountains, the desert, the weather, the buildings. I am early in my photography journey but it is a passion I hope results in images others enjoy as much as I do.
