How long have you been in business?
We started the color consultant field as an occupation in 1979, one of the few pioneers in the field. We began creating color schemes for Victorian homes when they are painted up showing all their glorious detail. We quickly become national in scope and moved into commercial work.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide market driven color and exterior design for buildings. We work with every style from residential, single and multifamily housing, retail, shopping centers, high-rise buildings as well as building products. We are also color trend experts for all general fields and specialists in all building fields. We have work in all 50 states and numerous foreign countries as well.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I got in to this renovating Victorian houses and with a degree in graphic design it was an easy transition. I quickly saw this was not about pretty colors but about marketing buildings- nice looking house sold faster and for a higher price. This is true of all buildings
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
No other color consultants have the knowledge or breadth of experience in the whole building/archtecture field. Color is not just decorative it should make the intricacies of the architecture obvious while setting exactly the right tone to appeal to the end users. We have found that color sells. We are also recognized color trend experts having been members of Color Marketing Group for 20 years. CMG is the premier world wide group that forecasts and tracks color trends.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We operate out of our office here in Denver and travel widely to service our clientele.
